HPE Networking AP22D Overview
Designed for small- to medium-sized businesses, the HPE Networking Instant On AP22D Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 Access Point enhances your network with fast and reliable wireless network coverage. Supporting the Wi-Fi 6 (802.3ax) standards, this access point can transfer up to 1.7 Gb/s over the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands with over 75 concurrently connected compatible devices.
The 2.5G PoE+ uplink port allows you to transfer data and power over a single cable with compatible network devices. This access point also includes four Gigabit-speed LAN ports, two of which support 15W PoE passthrough. Its versatile design allows you to mount this access point on a desk or wall.
Wi-Fi 6 Features
The AP22D features Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access (OFDMA), which allows access points to handle multiple Wi-Fi 6 capable clients on each channel simultaneously.
Target Wake Time (TWT) - Ideal for IoT devices that communicate infrequently, TWT establishes a schedule for when clients need to communicate with an AP. This reduces power consumption and can extend the battery life of clients.
Multi-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) allows the access point to simultaneously serve multiple clients.
