Designed to cut through signal-dense areas, this indoor Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) maximizes wireless data speeds by supporting the 160 MHz channels, which allows it to transfer up to 4800 Mb/s over the 5 GHz band and 574 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz frequency with compatible devices. You can provide power and data to the Instant On AP25 through a single cable by connecting its 2.5G Ethernet uplink port to a PoE-compatible network switch or router.
Its two down-tilted omnidirectional antennas support 4 x 4 MIMO technology with a peak gain of up to 4.55 dBi over the 5 GHz band, providing fast and stable connections to devices. The wireless signal is secured by WPA2 and WPA3 authentication while a built-in firewall helps to prevent intruders and bots from accessing your network. You can set the access point on your desk or use the included clip to mount it onto a wall or ceiling. Configure the access point via the HPE Networking Instant On mobile app to set up guest networks, block users, and take advantage of other features.
