Cokin Evo Overview
This Cokin Evo Circular Polarizer Filter is designed for use with an Evo Aluminum P Series Filter Holder's front plate, or it can be placed directly on a lens that features 95mm front filter threads. When applied, it helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface.
The light from the sun naturally becomes partially polarized due to reflecting off electrons in air molecules, causing the light to scatter into what appears as haze. A polarizing filter arranges, and filters, this directionally polarized light perpendicularly to the reflected light, allowing for the absorption of much of this light. This results in a noticeable reduction of glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces, and an increase in the saturation of skies and foliage.
A circular polarizer differs from a linear polarizer in that it contains a quarter wave plane in addition to the linear polarizing filter. Due to how the light is broken down and filtered with a linear polarizer, auto focus and exposure accuracy become skewed during use. When the light becomes circularly polarized, it permits the use of these functions.
Cokin Evo circular polarizer filters are constructed from Schott glass for increased optical clarity as well as color fidelity, and promote nearly flat attenuation of visible and UV light. This 95mm Evo circular polarizer filter features a durable, lightweight, 7.50mm-thick aluminum-alloy filter ring assembly with a front ring that can be rotated to adjust the intensity of the polarization effect. These rings minimize the potential for vignetting, and the front ring also includes corresponding 95mm front filter threads for use with other screw-on filters.
To help eliminate internal ghosting and reflections, each glass surface of the 95mm Evo Circular Polarizer Filter features 16 layers of Cokin's EVERCLEAR 5 anti-reflection coating. These coatings are resistant to oil, dust, dirt, and scratches, offering greater protection to the filter and helping it to stay clean for longer than with uncoated filters. The coatings are also hydrophobic, resulting in an improved beading effect when in contact with water for greater cleaning efficiency.

Creatively with sorcerise the image ( loved it)
Creatively popped up the color as well ( along the polarizing light) I am using it with Canon R6 + RF 28-70 as permanent on lense setup. I prefer to use a functional filter infront of lense rather than non functional filter(lense hood is better in that sense) Some weird sliding noise it makes while rotating, which i believe its normal as glass element frames will be rubbing a little bit.(not a big deal) Tip: You will need air blower in your bag from now on, a very little dust magnet that can be blown right away.( thanks to its Multi layer Hydrophobic Coatings) Overall good finishing touch and quality product ( Optic + Build + Packaging) I reiterate , its creatively pop up color just like Cokin Brand synonyms to. ( which i like, refer image to get idea) I am Happy with the result overall. ( Designed in Paris, Made in Japan under Kenko Tokina Corporation)

I purchased the Evo 95mm to use with my Sigma 150-600mm. I make it a point to purchase a circular polarizer filter for all of my lenses, and I am not disappointed. I great value, nice and thin, and screws directly on the Sigma lens. I have been able to shoot handheld and have not notice any problem with light or color issues.
