Inside and out, the NW-WM1AM2 Walkman Digital Music Player from Sony has been carefully and expertly crafted to provide audiophiles with a mobile device that's capable of producing the sound quality they crave. An S-Master HX digital amplifier, strong power supply, and high-quality internal components work to keep audio clean, nuanced, and dynamic for up to 40 hours on a full charge. It supports a variety of high-end sound processing options, such as Hi-Res Audio, 11.2 MHz native DSD, Edge-AI-enhanced DSEE Ultimate, and more.
Files can be transferred via a fast USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 wired connection or wirelessly from your music library over Wi-Fi. Files can easily be stored within the Walkman's 128GB of internal memory, or on optional microSD memory cards. With the Wi-Fi connection you can also choose to use the built-in Android 11 OS to access a wide variety of streaming apps and services. All of your audio playback is conveniently controlled via the WM1AM2 Walkman's 5" touchscreen display with customizable Walkman Home Screen.

The WM1AM2 music player's power supply is comprised of a host of components that deliver more power than the previous version in both the analog and digital block.

Twin Headphone Jacks
The Walkman WM1AM2 provides two headphone jacks. One is a 3.5mm stereo mini jack, and the other is a 4.4mm balanced connection to separate the left and right signals, while minimizing signal transmission loss and sound degradation.
Volume UI
A 120-step volume adjustment is available digitally with an analog twist. The volume UI displays an analog dial onscreen that you can tap and "twist" to adjust the volume.
