When connected to a required Hue Bridge (available separately), the sensor can trigger your Hue lights to automatically turn on when motion is detected. Additionally, this device features a daylight sensor to detect when there is still enough daylight to see, ensuring that your lights aren't on when you don't need them to be. The included AAA batteries have a two-year lifespan.
This motion sensor uses the ZigBee communication protocol for a wireless connection without requiring an internet connection. Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, HomeKit, and Microsoft Cortana are supported for seamless voice control.
