Tilta Camera Cage Basic Kit for Sony a7C II & a7CR (Black)

In a robust formfitting design, this black Full Camera Cage from Tilta protects your Sony a7C II or a7CR mirrorless camera and provides a shoe mount, multiple 1/4"-20 anti-twist accessory threads, an HDMI cable clamp, a side NATO rail, two front lens adapter threads, and a strap slot.

On the bottom of the cage, an integrated Arca-type base as well as 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads allow you to mount your camera onto tripods, gimbals, and other supports.

This compact quick release top handle is smaller than the standard Tiltaing quick release handle and well suited for use with smaller cameras or when a smaller shooting package is desired. There is one shoe mount on top and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, each featuring anti-twist divots.

The aluminum and stainless steel handle mounts securely onto a camera cage, such as the Tilta Full Camera Cage for Sony a7 IV, using its NATO clamp and locking lever.

Add this black Modular 15mm LWS Baseplate Type III from Tilta to your camera rig setup and expand your mounting options to accommodate a variety of optional rod-based accessories such as matte boxes and follow focus motors. The modular design provides multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting points and a removable Arca-type receiver that allows you to quickly switch between this baseplate and compatible gimbals like the DJI Ronin S series.

Compatible with Tilta standard dovetails, this baseplate can also host a wide variety of quick release plates via the multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads on the bottom of the unit. Two LWS 15mm rod ports enable you to add optional 15mm rods to further enhance mounting possibilities, and the sturdy aluminum and steel construction ensures durability and reliability for filmmakers or videographers on the go.

Tilta's 8" Threaded 15mm Rod is a 8" rod with female threading on both ends. This allows you to use optional threaded rod adapters to extend the length. As a standard practice, Tilta chamfers one end of their rods and leaves the other end with a straight cut. The chamfering makes it easier to slide accessories onto the rod, while the end with the straight cut makes for a smoother rod join.

The rod is made from machined aluminum for a balance between weight and strength, and then anodized black for wear and corrosion resistance. Please note that there is no industry-wide standard for support rod threading, so when sourcing optional rod extenders, it is best to stay within one brand.
