Tilta Camera Cage Pro Kit for Canon R7 (Black)

Protect and add accessory mounting options to your Canon R7 mirrorless camera using this aluminum Full Camera Cage from Tilta. This cage provides all-around protection, an integrated Arca-type base, and compatibility with the DJI RS3 Pro and Arca-Swiss compatible systems.

Accessory mounting options include one NATO side rail, a shoe mount, and multiple 1/4"-20 threads. There are also 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads on the base for alternate rig and plate mounting. The cage comes with an HDMI/USB-C cable clamp to prevent pulling and disconnects, a support for the Tilta EF-R lens mount adapter, and an Allen wrench which stores in the base of the cage and tightens the camera screw.

This compact quick release top handle is smaller than the standard Tiltaing quick release handle and well suited for use with smaller cameras or when a smaller shooting package is desired. Add this black Modular 15mm LWS Baseplate Type III from Tilta to your camera rig setup and expand your mounting options to accommodate a variety of optional rod-based accessories such as matte boxes and follow focus motors. The modular design provides multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting points and a removable Arca-type receiver that allows you to quickly switch between this baseplate and compatible gimbals like the DJI Ronin S series.

Compatible with Tilta standard dovetails, this baseplate can also host a wide variety of quick release plates via the multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads on the bottom of the unit. Two LWS 15mm rod ports enable you to add optional 15mm rods to further enhance mounting possibilities, and the sturdy aluminum and steel construction ensures durability and reliability for filmmakers or videographers on the go.

Tilta's 8" Threaded 15mm Rod is a 8" rod with female threading on both ends. This allows you to use optional threaded rod adapters to extend the length. As a standard practice, Tilta chamfers one end of their rods and leaves the other end with a straight cut. The chamfering makes it easier to slide accessories onto the rod, while the end with the straight cut makes for a smoother rod join.

The rod is made from machined aluminum for a balance between weight and strength, and then anodized black for wear and corrosion resistance. Please note that there is no industry-wide standard for support rod threading, so when sourcing optional rod extenders, it is best to stay within one brand.
