The versatile Magnetic Smartphone Mount for Tripods & Desktops from Magnus can optimize a wide variety of everyday mobile applications. When using your phone at home or the office, slide the mount into the included desktop stand to easily keep tabs on incoming notifications, conduct video chats, or watch streaming videos. The stand's base had padded feet to keep it stable on slick surfaces.
When you're out taking photos and videos, slide the mount into an Arca-style clamp or use the bottom 1/4"-20 socket and attach it to a standard tripod. My favorite phone stand
I owned and used the Magnus Magnetic mount for over 3 months. I use the magnetic mount on the desk and kitchen while looking at cooking receipts. The phone simply 'snaps' onto the stand securely and the height of the phone can be adjusted up or down depending on where you place the phone onto the magnet. I wish that the base is made of metal and not plastic, and a bit heavier (sometimes the mount and the phone can tip over to its side if you're not careful). It's a really nice stand.
Could not be happier
I ordered 2 of these 24 October & due to International Freight I wasn't expecting any miracles in delivery time. Now just 4 days later the order has been delivered to my home in Australia. Well done BHPhoto & DHL. Opened the box and everything was there quick assemble and everything works as expected. I will continue to use BHPhoto well into the future Thank you, from the otherside of the planet in Australia

Love this smartphone holder!
The Magnus Magnetic Smartphone Mount really opens up your options when using your cell phone as a capture device or for video calls. In the box there are a few options for mounting a phone. The first (and easiest) is to just toss the magnet in your phone case and put your phone back in. When you don't want it in there you can easily take it out but for the most part I just leave it in my case. The second option is using the included round adhesive plate. You stick it to your phone or case with some 3m sticky thing and the magnet can live permanently on whatever you want to stick it to. The magnet is strong and securely holds my phone. It's also easy to quickly find the perfect position with the twist on the back or by adjusting the magnet in the phone case. I've used this on a light stand, tripod, monopod and the desk stand is great as well. During the day my phone normally would just sit on my desk but with the included desk stand it makes my phone much more functional. If you produce content with your phone or just want a cool desk stand this mount works great and doesn't break the bank. (I received this product in exchange for my honest review)
Versatile stand for your smartphone.
What a cool little stand. I plan on using it mostly by my computer for my phone, to see messages come in and for Facetime (or Zoom). I love that it works by magnet so it is easy to take on and off of the stand. I just put the magnetic plate under my phone case, so it is always there and ready to use, but doesn't get in the way. The fact that it can be used with a tripod is a great bonus. I attached it to a 501 quick release plate and my tripod, but it supposedly works directly with an Arca-type plate. That's super convenient. Overall I think this is going to be a nice addition near my computer to store my phone, to check as messages or texts come in and no longer need to reach in my pocket. It works
I've had mine for over a week now & I use it on my desktop in both portrait & landscape mode I haven't tried it on a tripod, but then I don't use my phone for too many photo's & rarely take video It would be even better if the detachable base was also magnetic but thats probably planned for a later updated version Construction appears to be solid and the tilt adjustable head & locking screw works fine A good simple product that works as advertised & worth a 5 star rating My current phone is an OPPO Reno4Z 5G
Great Mount
I wish I had bought more than one when it was on sale. If I could find a way to secure the base to my dashboard without marring the surface, it would be one heck of a car phone mount. Tip: place the magnet as low on the phone or inside the phone case as you can. It distributes the phone's weight better and prevents the stand from tipping forward. Magnus delivered. Thanks.
