Useful and functional kit!
I was hesitant to get this initially due to price, but since I�m getting the everyday iphone case I decided to give it a try. It�s not just a mobile creator kit, it�s a secure phone clip (esp. when paired with capture clip). I use it to clip on my belt, I use it as photography/videography tool, and as a desk phone holder when paired with tiny tripod. Very versatile!

Not in my pocket
The clip in system is very secure. The phone doesn't come off! I don't like carrying my phone in my pocket. So I adapted this system so that the clip-in base is mounted on the sternum strap of my work backpack. (If ever I want to use the creator kit, I can easily put it back together)
Most stable mobile phone holder
The holder is very practical. The magnetic and mechanical closure is ingenious and holds super tight.
Feels Cheap
I really hate to say this but when I opened up my creator kit, I was immediately underwhelmed by the feel of the mount and how fragile it felt. The arca adapter plate I assume is made of the polycarbonate material which just feels like it won�t last long. I can understand trying to keep this light but I expected the arca adapter would be aluminum. All the knobs feel so brittle as well. The other strange thing is that the locking knob on the arca adapter makes it very difficult to put the phone in a vertical orientation in its default configuration. However, you can just unscrew the adapter plate from the mount arm and flip it. It�s not a big deal but it�s inconvenient and feels like this is a problem that should�ve been accounted for early on in the design of this thing. I�ve been with Peak Design since capture and when compared to that, this just feels like an engineering sample.
Exactly what I waited for
I've been waiting for this product for a long time: a way to connect my smartphone to my Capture Clip. And I was not disappointed! The kit is very stable, feels good and makes an excellent impression overall. In addition, the price is also quite fair. All in all, a top product for anyone who wants to carry their smartphone on a backpack strap on hikes - whether for filming or just to have their hands free.
Works great with the iPhone Pro Max case
Solid construction, versatile and reliable. Don't have to worry that it might break loose when mounted on a helmet or similar. Great Peak Design quality, as expected.
Fast, easy and secure
It so good, I actually bought a second one. One I use usually with a tripod, the other is permanently installed in my car. It works amazingly. Fast to attach, fast to detach and holds as steady and strong as it could be. Simply amazing product.
