Dynamic Microphone Perfect for Live Events, and Desktop Recording | Polsen DM-USX1
Well suited for podcasts, video conferencing, and even live performances, the Polsen DM-USX1 is a rugged microphone that offers both analog and USB connections. Plug the mic into a house mixer or PA system, or use it with your computer over a USB port. Either way, the mic will require no external batteries or powerjust plug it in, and it's ready to use.
The mic's wide frequency response is optimized for vocal clarity, so your voice will be crisp and intelligible. The integrated A/D converter offers CD- and broadcast-quality sound, making it suitable for professional podcasting and voice-over use. Its supercardioid polar pattern focuses the audio capture on what's directly in front of the mic, minimizing unwanted room pickup in the process. This durable mic ships with a mic clip, a tripod stand, and a USB cable.
Dynamic Microphone
The DM-USX1 doesn't require batteries or phantom power to operate. Just plug it in, set your levels, and go to work.
Optimized for Vocals
This microphone is optimized to record clear and intelligible vocals and speech. A wide frequency response of 50 Hz to 16 kHz and high sensitivity make this microphone capable of capturing your voice with clarity and accuracy.
Supercardioid Polar Pattern
The supercardioid polar pattern focuses on the sound in front and minimizes off-axis background noise, a feature that makes the DM-USX1 ideal for video conferences in noisy office or home environments. The supercardioid polar pattern is also ideal for preventing feedback in live stage or presentation applications.
Rugged and Portable
Take your microphone anywhere. Its solid metal construction will withstand the bumps and knocks of travel as well as onstage use.
On/Off Switch
The on/off switch is a convenient feature that lets you quickly mute the microphone for a side conversation or when there's a pause in your conference.
USB and XLR Outputs
Use the USB cable to plug into any computer or DAW with an available USB port. Add an XLR cable to your rig, and connect it to a mixing board, PA system, or amplifier with an XLR input.
Headphone Output
Headphone latencyhearing your voice out of sync with your speakingcan be a killer in online meetings and chats. The DM-USX1's headphone output lets you hear yourself in your headphones without latency. It also lets you monitor the audio playback when you're recoding a podcast.
Integrated A/D Converter
An analog-to-digital converter is built right into the microphone, so no other hardware is needed for video conferencing and recording audio to your computer. And you'll sound great, thanks to the 16-bit/ 44.1 or 48 kHz sampling rate that will give you CD-quality audio.
Mic Clip and Desktop Tripod
Dynamic mics are famous for their handheld applications, but that's no way to have a video meeting or record a podcast. The included mic clip has a 5/8-27 socket that will screw onto any mic stand. For desktop conferences or recording narration or voice-overs, attach the mic clip to the desktop tripod for convenient hands-free operation.
