Also on hand are controls for the built-in recorder as well as a button for the built-in noise-reduction. Literally everything you need to control is intuitively built into the microphone itself, so you don't have to fiddle with any software operations.
Selectable Polar Patterns
Choose Cardioid if it's just you speaking in an untreated room: cardioid polar patterns are a great natural defense against picking up unwanted room tone. If you're recording more people, or want a more honest, true-to-life sound, choose the omnidirectional polar pattern, which picks up audio equally all around the capsule.
